Why 9/11?
Some dates divide life into before and after. September 11 is one of them.
Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives taken, the families changed forever, the courage of first responders, the people who ran toward danger, and the extraordinary unity that rose in the middle of horror.
This stitch is not an attempt to turn tragedy into promotion. It is the opposite. It is a decision to remember with reverence—and to place something useful, hopeful, and life-giving beside a date associated with terrible loss.
We remember so we never forget. Out of the ashes, we choose to build something beautiful.
Why Launch Patchwork Angels™ on September 11?
Because remembrance can include responsibility. We cannot change what happened. We can decide what we carry forward from it: courage, service, unity, compassion, vigilance, truth, and the refusal to look away when people are hurting.

September 11 showed us both the depth of evil and the power of people standing together. END Silence™ exists because silence can protect harm, while truth, courage, accountability, and community can interrupt it.
